The Magic of Flight takes you on a technological thrill ride faster, higher, and wilder than modern science or even your imagination! Relive the historical first flight of the Wright Brothers in 1903, then soar with the world-famous Blue Angels as they defy the laws of gravity with their most breathtaking maneuvers.Narrated by Tom Selleck, The Magic of Flight highlights and salutes a variety of modern aircraft, the people who fly them, and the human potential of training and performance.
It's films like these that not only educate, but are fun to watch as well. What makes The Magic of Flight so interesting to watch is that it takes the camera into parts of a plane that we haven't really had the chance to see.

This is a must for the aviation enthusiast. Great pictures from Blue Angels training and air show performance.

The amazing camerawork and visuals make it far more interesting and exciting than something very over-technical or complex. Undoubtedly, some people might find the movie a little simplistic. It does tend to talk down to the audience, and some of the educational material might seem weak to someone who knows anything about planes.

The film was financed in part by a group of aviation firms, so its attitude toward its subject matter is unabashed enthusiasm. Given the extensive cooperation of the U.S. Navy in the film's production, at times it begins to feel like a Blue Angels recruiting poster.
