As a huge fan of the films of Kubrick, this documentary was a pleasure to see, especially the never before seen behind the scenes shots. I was unsure what to expect at first, but this is a well made and well executed look into Kubrick's career, while also providing a glimpse into his private life, which is rare indeed.

Harlan was Kubrick's longtime producer, and also his brother-in-law, so has access to good footage and starry interviews. But he's also very much the keeper of the flame, and the film pays no more than lip service to properly objective criticism.
