Description

Clarkson trawls the whole of cardom to find seven great cars, and truffles the undergrowth looking for seven automotive disasters.

The good ones - the Ferraris, the Porsches and the Aston Martins are driven to within an inch of their lives on the track. Some are even handed over to the Stig.

The bad ones are killed. Sawn in half. Hung, drawn and quartered. They're hammered and blown to pieces with dynamite and their skeletons are left in the open to rot.

It's Heaven, then, and Hell.

This isn’t the sort of DVD I’d purchase unless it were really cheap, but I highly recommend you rent it.

More explosions and torture would have been nice, but the true magic of watching Clarkson: Heaven and Hell is listening to Clarkson tell us exactly why we're seeing art, and not mere transportation.

I'd rather have had a DVD release of his entry in the Great Britons series than this. In fact, even the What Not To Wear that featured him would have been more entertaining than this.
